Muttis Geburtstag – Charityevent für unseren Verein & die Sonneninsel
Vergangenen Samstag wurde unser Verein zu einem ganz besonderen Event eingeladen:
Der bekannte und gern gelesene Elternblog Muttis Nähkästchen wurde 10Jahre alt! Wow, was für ein tolles Jubiläum, gerade in unserer schnelllebigen Zeit und in der ständigen Veränderung des Internets.
Birgit, die Frau hinter Muttis Nähkästchen wäre nicht Birgit, wenn sie dieses tolle Jubiläum nicht mit einer wundervollen Charityaktion verbunden hätte. So hat sie ein ganz bezauberndes Event für ihre Freunde, Bloggerkolleginnen und deren Kinder auf die Beine gestellt. Dort wurde für unseren Verein und die Sonneninsel Seekirchen Spenden gesammelt.
Mit ganz viel Freude habe Ich (Eva, Obfrau), mein Mann Stefan mit unserer Tochter Helena und unsere liebe Sabine (Babysitter Service für Palliativkinder) mit ihren zwei Kindern, stellvertretend für unseren Verein an der Party teilgenommen.
Was haben wir nun dort erlebt?
Die Feier fand im Miele Experience Center Salzburg statt, was natürlich tolle Möglichkeiten bot. So gab es einen kleinen Backworkshop von und mit Anke Eder von natürlich hausgemacht, eine entzückende Modenschau und ganz tolle Goodiebags für Kinder von Catwalkstories – bei dem alle anwesenden Kinder kostenlos eingekleidet wurden!!
Außerdem einen Fotoworkshop über Licht und Linien mit Doris Wild von Wildbild und einen Workshop mit Brigitte Maria Gruber der Frauenfachakademie Mondsee „Was Frauen weiterbringt“. Außerdem hat das Team von Cleverly die ganze Zeit über die Kinder mit basteln und spielen beschäftigt und wir wurden von Miele mit einer leckeren Suppe und Aufstrichen verköstigt. Den krönenden Abschluss gestaltete eine leckere Torte zum Geburtstag von Muttis Nähkästchen und einem gemütlichen Beisammensein.
Sabine hat sich beim backen große Mühe gegeben und hat uns leckere Semmeln gebacken und die kleine Helena hatte sehr viel Spaß beim Spielen mit den Kindern. Für mich war besonders schön, die anderen Bloggerkolleginnen zu treffen und sich auszutauschen. Außerdem tut es immer gut über Haylie und ihr Vermächtnis zu sprechen – zu sehen wie sie nach wie vor die Menschen berührt.

Den Geburtstag mit Charity verbunden
Neben unserem Verein wurde auch für die Sonneninsel in Seekirchen Spenden gesammelt, und Herr Janik, Geschäftsführer der Sonneninsel erzählte allen Gästen ein bisschen mehr über diese tolle Einrichtung! Das hat uns besonders gefreut, denn auch wir werden in der Zukunft mit der Sonneninsel zusammenarbeiten und vielleicht schon nächstes Jahr eine Schwerpunktwoche für Palliativkinder ins Leben rufen!
